My husband and I absolutely adored this place. We stopped in one morning and sat down. One of the local customers asked us if we wanted coffee and she brought it over to our table. Then the waitress/cook/cashier/busser came over and took our order. As soon as she took the order she started making it. The food was prepared quickly and delivered to our table. I ordered eggs, home fries, bacon & toast and boy was there plenty of it & it was delicious to boot!! My husband ordered two blueberry pancakes which were so big they were almost coming off the plate! When we asked for more coffee she told us to help ourselves to the coffee pot which I just thought was amazing. When my husband went up to pay the total for both of our ginormous plates of insanely good food & endless coffee was around $12. TOTAL. Incredible! We returned the next day for another enjoyable meal. We wish we could have gone every day, but because it is such a small hidden gem and a one woman show; there were not many seats and the place fills up fast. That was the only negative; but you can't blame the customers for gravitating to such a wonderful restaurant. Loved this place, the food, the service, the prices & the small town feel! You definitely must stop here if you are in the Franklin/Ellsworth area.

I laughed, and ate my ass off here. I found out about the place by a local, it's the best local secret I've ever been to. Literally everyone calling each other nicknames, and I was the only one with a menu since everyone else just asked for their "Usual." My mind was blown. I had 2 muffins and 2 ginormous pancakes, and a water for like $6.
It's run by like one or two people, so everyone helps clean, serve themselves water. True honor system and you absolutely have to drop by. They have funny signs all over and they're all a bunch of jokers. -

This tiny little 5 table restaurant hidden in a gas station doesn't even have a sign. It is truly a local hidden gem. Everyone who walked in knew the woman who was cooking, serving, busing - a real one woman show! She greeted us with coffee and asked us if we knew what we wanted, or if we needed a menu. Honestly, I was surprised they even had a menu, but that's how I found out the name of this little gem.
Looking over the menu I was trying to decide if I should get 1 or 3 blueberry pancakes since one was only $1.95. I asked her how large a pancake was and if one would be enough for one person. She laughed and said "Oh, god yes!" I ordered that and a side of hash (for $1.50) just in case. When it arrived, it was 1 giant, plate sized blueberry pancake - and it was delicious! My entire breakfast came to just over $5 and I was stuffed beyond belief. Great food, great service, great value. No two questions about it!
